Hi all,

If you’re visiting this blog for the first time, I wanted to let you know what my policy is on comments so you’ll feel free to add one if you wish. You’re also free to ask questions about my comments policy if you’re unclear on anything.

I don’t always respond to comments personally, but do know that your comments are appreciated. This is NOT a debate forum, and I will not encourage or engage in debates here.

ALL COMMENTS MUST BE IN ENGLISH…NO EXCEPTIONS

All reasonable comments that are respectful of others and their beliefs/opinions will generally be published. Please keep your comments within a 2 paragraph range if possible. I reserve the right to deny or delete any comments that are hateful; disrespectful to other users or of their beliefs; use put-downs or personal attacks; contain illegal or pornographic material; multiple copies of the same comment; or that contain spam.

Spam and flagrant hate speech or threats will be deleted without warning and result in banning. People who are disrespectful of others’ beliefs or resort to personal attacks will be given ONE warning. After that, further rude responses will result in comments being deleted.

I do have a policy against allowing comments to stand that have links to other sites but no discussion, as well as comments do not adequately address the subject at hand and only appear to be promoting a link. The exception is “pingbacks”, since visitors might be interested in what other blogs are linking to or mentioning this one.

Any issues that arise on specific threads will be dealt with there.
