Eastern Religions

Eastern religions often stress monism (the belief that “all is one and all is God”), and have entirely different perspectives on sin & human nature than Christianity does. The New Age movement has been greatly influenced by Eastern teaching. Beliefs held by Eastern religion adherants may vary depending on their faith (i.e. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism). Common concerns include the worship of other gods, the belief that God and His creation are the same, a denial of a human sin nature, and belief in reincarnation.
